The third campus event of Billion Group's 2025 SDGs Star Seed Projects brought the ESG volunteer team back to Wenshan District, this time visiting Lixing Elementary School, known for its strong educational values. Upholding the core school motto of "Act with perseverance, pursue truth, kindness, and beauty," the school is committed to cultivating students with both character and action, and has long been dedicated to helping students practice these core values in daily life.

Lixing Elementary School places particular emphasis on self-management, character development, and hands-on learning for its students. This event, themed “Sustainability Starts with Me”, integrated environmental protection and green energy education while promoting the mindset of action and responsibility, encouraging children to progress from knowledge to real-life practice, extending learning beyond the classroom into daily life.

Billion's ESG volunteers used simple, engaging methods to introduce different types of clean energy, including solar power, wind power, hydropower, geothermal energy. They also taught students how to incorporate energy-saving and carbon-reducing habits into their daily routines. The children listened attentively and actively asked questions, showing strong interest and a positive attitude towards sustainability topics.

This event not only conveyed the sustainable development ideals of the SDGs but also complemented the school's long-term commitment to character education. The children came to realize that the meaning of action lies not only in the present but in protecting the truth, kindness, and beauty of the future.
