Billion Electric Co., Ltd. announced today that its Chairman, Mr. Tim Chen (Jong-Tim Chen), has retired following the conclusion of the Board of Directors meeting. The Board has elected Mr. Pedersen Chen (Cheng-Chien Chen), the corporate representative director from Sino-American Silicon Products Inc., as the new Chairman, effective March 13, 2025.

Mr. Tim Chen joined Billion Group in 1992 and has devoted 32 years of dedicated service to the company. Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in leading the company through multiple transformations and growth phases. He spearheaded Billion’s expansion into the network communications sector, broadened the company’s presence in the power supply business, and, over the past decade, actively drove the company’s transition into the green energy industry. As of last year, the green energy sector accounted for 80% of Billion Group’s total revenue, underscoring the success of this transformation and laying a strong foundation for future growth.

Reflecting on his retirement, Mr. Tim Chen stated:
"Looking ahead, Billion Group will continue to strengthen its core businesses under the leadership of professional managers, while the younger generation embraces their roles as future industry leaders in pursuit of excellence. I look forward to dedicating more time to my family and embarking on a new chapter in my life. I sincerely wish Billion Group continued progress, sustainable operations, and long-term success. Furthermore, I hope all colleagues remain committed to contributing to Taiwan's energy transition."

Mr. Pedersen Chen, the newly appointed Chairman, remarked:

Billion Group successfully hosted the inauguration ceremony for its new chairman, bringing together the executive management team to witness this significant milestone.
