Billion Runs in Response to Animal Conservation and Experiences The Animal Migration Crisis

Electric Billion • October 23, 2023

Billion Group responded to the "Run For Conservation" event to protect the future of wild animals. Co-hosted by the Taipei Zoo and the Taipei Municipal Athletics Federation, the event aims to raise public awareness of wildlife conservation and encourage people to participate in outdoor sports to promote physical and mental health, while deepening our connection with nature and enjoying the positive impact it brings.

During this journey, Billion employees traveled through the herbivore area and played the role of the animal migration to experience this arduous journey by themselves. We look forward to raising public awareness of the crisis which the world’s wildlife face. We showed our commitment to wildlife conservation and shared the responsibility needed to reverse the endangered species situation, which will realize a sustainable society.

During the run, we met a variety of animals such as black bears, gorillas, giant pandas, and other species along the way, such as African elephants, common elands, Chapman zebras and dromedaries. These species face threats to the survival of wild populations posed by inappropriate human activities such as habitat loss, illegal poaching, and livestock competition. Through this event, we are able to give a voice to these animals, and no matter what we hope to achieve, understanding the migration knowledge of wild animals and the challenges of survival is the first step to the action.

Billion Group wholeheartedly supports this important event, and we look forward to working with more people to contribute to wildlife conservation." Together, let's protect the future of every life in this planet.
